"Get you someone who can do both!!"
When Ethan is not performing, he is dreaming up elaborate sets, costumes, dance sequences, and gut wrenching 11 'o clock numbers. That's just how his brain has ticked since he started doing theatre.
From re-enacting his favorite movies with his toys as a child, to now working with young adults in middle school and summer camps, Ethan can proudly say that he is making the effort to fully push directing and choreographing into his career trajectory!
"At the end of the day, we are portraying human beings. We shouldn't have to "show" anything. Everything should just be simple" This was a wise lesson Ethan learned in school, and it is now the basis he uses to approach both acting and directing. He views both dialogue and song as a conversation between the actors, the music, and the audience. When you keep that in mind, "a simple and human conversation", that's where a true character journey begins.
